That’s a gross oversimplification of me. But, as a writer, I worship simplicity. I love stupidly simple ideas. The kind that explain themselves before you get a chance to finish your sentence. The simpler the idea, the more weight it carries, the more people care. Which is why I love creative advertising. It’s a search for simplicity in a world of chaos.

Over the last decade, I’ve used that approach to craft campaigns for clients like Kona Brewing, INFINITI, Clorox, Right Guard, Slim Jim, Upwork, and more. Along the way, I’ve been fortunate enough to work with Steph Curry, Kelly Slater, Adam Driver, and the loveliest humans on Earth — the Kona Brothers. When you choose a creative life, there’s never a dull moment.

But the second I get the chance to step away, I’m on a bike ride or a flight somewhere searching for simplicity.
